
Orawan Gardner is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She provides evidence-based psychopharmacological treatment and prioritizes a strong therapeutic relationship with all patients.
She received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Vassar College and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Yale School of Nursing. Orawan is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Orawan has inpatient and outpatient experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including adults, adolescents, and geriatric clients. She has expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, substance use disorders, and PTSD. Orawan utilizes a holistic approach to care, considering the physical, emotional, and social aspects of a patient’s well-being.
When not working in private practice, she sees patients at the Yale Community Health Care Van and Clinic, lectures at the Yale School of Nursing, and provides various services as a per diem PMHNP at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport.
